Business Development Manager/ Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for identifying, developing and closing on new business opportunities from new customers that align with our business strategy. Promote our company’s experience, strengths, capabilities and services. Develop a strong understanding of the needs of the customer and obtain new business opportunities. Establish, maintain and grow relationships with strategic individuals and departments at targeted accounts.

Accountable for sales, marketing, negotiating, customer service, design and development consulting, and any other activity that would either sustain existing business or transform new opportunities into business growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proficient in developing and executing all aspects of the sales strategy for any given opportunity or customer.
  • Assist in managing pricing for all customers for required margin or margin enhancement.
  • Active involvement in decision making for new technologies and opportunities. Uses creativity in pursuing new opportunities and applications.
  • Ensures program teams understand customer deliverables such as packaging, resin choices, quality expectations, etc.
  • Identifies opportunities, participates and coordinates promotions, trade shows and sales meetings.
  • Initiates, coordinates, evaluates, updates and acts upon the Strategic Marketing and Business Plan.
  • Collaborates with the management team developing annual objectives and budgets.
  • Leads the development and implementation of sales strategies and programs including a sales tracking system to track customer contact and sales relationship opportunities.
  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
  • Software skills (Microsoft Office), track sales activities with CRM such as Salesforce, ACT, Dynamics, or HubSpot.
  • Previous B2B field sales role, preferably within a technical sales industry.
  • Technical Background (e.g. Automation, Tooling, Processing,) in Plastics Injection Molding Manufacturing is preferred.
  • Experience in project scheduling, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Ensures that the business is operated to the highest standards in line with the companies purpose and values

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in Engineering, Business / Marketing but will consider experience in lieu of education

Work Experience

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ of successful experience in the business of custom injection molding, tooling and manufacturing sales.
  • Experience with mechanical and plastic part design, GD&T, as well as automotive product development and quality systems.
  • Experience negotiating agreements and contracts.

Process Technician – 2nd Shift

The goal of the Process Technician is to provide expert support in the area of injection molding to the manufacturing operation. It is both a “hands-on” and supportive role where consistent, quality parts are produced at effective rates. As such, the Process Technician must operate with urgency and dedication to do “whatever it takes” to meet the customer’s requirements, in a safe working environment, and a positive team atmosphere.

The role is required to maintain the control of processes in injection molding. The role also provides support to the execution of the production schedule including anything from component changes, setups and startups for molding and post molding operations. This role reports to the Process Engineer and supports the Lead Operator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITILIES

  • Monitors the execution of the production schedule
  • Performs mold and/or material changes as dictated by the schedule
  • Performs process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality
  • Verifies paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at start up of jobs and in process inspections
  • Monitors and prepares support equipment as needed in the production area
  • Monitors processes to ensure that they are within the prescribed parameters
  • Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
  • Trains back-ups

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

  • Die Setting experience is required
  • Must possess the ability to operate overhead cranes

Staff Accountant

The role of the Staff Accountant as a junior professional in the financial function of the organization with the responsibility of monitoring all financial aspects of the company. The key responsibilities of this position are to complete month end financial statements, monitor cash, and review accounts receivable and accounts payable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITILIES

  • Examines, analyzes and interprets accounting records for the purpose of giving advice or preparing statements.
  • Completes month end financial statements and reports
  • Review Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable postings
  • Monitor cash flow and estimates projections
  • Supports the Director of Finance and Administration in directing budget and cost controls, financial analysis and accounting procedures
  • Responsible for completing and disbursing weekly reports to assist with production analysis
  • Complete invoicing for Non Production related transactions
  • Assist in yearend processing of tax returns & financial statements
  • Back up person for Accounting Assistant

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with emphasis in Accounting preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of education

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
