Executive Administrative Assistant

Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Executive Administrative Assistant provides senior level support functions for the Leadership Team. As the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President/CEO, the Executive Administrative Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a mission-driven, results-focused and community oriented environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing advanced level support skills related to communication, calendar management, graphical presentations, development and support of Sales and Marketing objectives. Additionally, this role assists the Engineering and Operations leaders on an as-needed basis while concurrently providing support for the President’s administrative needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibilities may include screening calls; managing calendars; making travel, meeting and event arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; training and supervising other support staff; and customer relations. Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters required.
  • Extensive software skills (Microsoft Office), Internet research abilities and strong communication skills are required.
  • Assist/create presentations for customer meetings, and events
  • Plan, host, and coordinate customer and distinguished guest meetings.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain department database records to track sales progress (CRM such as Salesforce, ACT, Dynamics, hatchbuck).
  • Support webmaster in updating and maintaining company website.
  • Serve as a liaison between traveling sales representatives and staff based in the home office.
  • Create and prepare emails or other communications from the President and the Marketing & Sales Team.
  • Post updates to social media sites.
  • Represents executive office with discretion and in a professional manner. Maintains confidential information.
  • Special projects as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, but will consider experience in lieu of education

Work Experience

  • Proven experience as an executive level administrative assistant or in other advanced administrative capacities.
  • Marketing and sales support experience preferable

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Microsoft Office Programs – including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Basic knowledge of Plastics terminology, (preferred).
  • Computer experience with CRM programs. ACT! user is preferable.
  • Ability to learn and master new concepts and software quickly.
  • Courteous and professional mannerism towards customers and team.

Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

DESCRIPTION

The qualified individual must be able to repair and maintain injection molding machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, conveyor systems, electrical devices and other secondary equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity
  • Documentation-the ability to fill out process sheets; and to perform safety checks on molds and machines
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery
  • Replaces and repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Replaces electrical parts and equipment
  • Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts
  • Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
  • Lubricates and cleans parts
  • Start devices to test their performance
  • Required to participate in on-call program and may be required to work additional hours as required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Follows all safety rules and procedures and observes the operations to insure a safe environment.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Must qualify for fork lift license according to company standards
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical is a must
  • Must have a demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read measuring devices
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to comprehend and follow written procedures, container labels and safety precautions

Mold Maker

The goal of the Mold Maker is to properly diagnose root cause of tooling failures based upon the condition of a plastic injection molded part. This role also troubleshoots repairs and performs preventative maintenance on electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic injection molds. The Mold Maker reports to the Sr. Mold Maker.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITILIES

  • Builds plastic injection molds from blueprints, technical drawings and CAD models
  • Sets-up and operate all standard tool room equipment including conventional mills, lathes, surface grinders, sinker E.D.M. machine and CNC mills
  • Surface-grinds, file, and bench flat & contoured molding surface and shut-offs
  • Regularly will compute dimensions, plan layouts and determine assembly method/sequence of operations
  • Assists in the training and development of Junior Mold Makers
  • Assembles and disassemble plastic injection molds
  • Examines standard or previously used molds, tools, jigs, and fixtures and recommend design modifications regarding construction and function of part
  • Designs and builds fixtures
  • Interfaces with Engineers and plastic Injection personnel
  • Suggests improvements to molds or process including materials & machines
  • Verifies dimensions, alignments and clearances
  • Visually troubleshoots mold problems when necessary, utilizing part samples to determine root cause of problem
  • Operates mobile equipment including but not limited to, fork trucks, overhead cranes, pallet jack

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of education
  • Associate’s Degree in Tool Making or related Field is preferred
  • Completion of Accredited Apprenticeship Program is strongly preferred

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Mold Making or Mold Maintenance
  • Must have own tools
